| Abstract: | According to the characteristic of high sediment concentration of the Yellow River,takinginto consideration the effects of sediment concentration on the viscosity and settling velocity,andthe representative settling velocity of nonuniform sediment,amendments were made to the for-mula of sediment transportcapacity frequently used in the Yellow River studies.The proposedformula is more suitable to be used in the Yellow River studies. |
