摘    要:测定了晶体的透过率谱,计算了 Er3+离子在YVO4晶体中的吸收截面.由积分吸收截面的公式拟合出唯象强度参量Ωt,并应用Judd-Ofelt理论计算出振子强度fJ,J’、辐射跃迁几率AJ.J'、无辐射跃迁几率WJ,J-1和荧光辐射寿命TJ.并根据这些光学参量,比较了掺饵钒酸钇(YVO4)晶体与按饵 YAG的激光输出和阈值等光学性能.讨论了钒酸钇(YVO4)晶体用作激光晶体的优点.

Abstract:The transmittance spectrum of Er~3+ ions in YVO_4 crystal has been measured. Its absorptive cross-sections are calculated on the basis of this spectrum. The phenomenological intensity parameters are obtained by the use formulas on integral absorptive cross-sections. The oscillator strength, the probability for radiative decay and the fluorescence emission lifetimes are calculated using iudd-Ofelt theory. In the light of above parameters, the optical properties of Er~3+ ions inYVO_4 on laser output and laser threshold energy(power) have been compared with those in YAG as host crystal. The advantages of YVO_4 as laser host crystal has been discussed.
