Synthesis and properties of tetraanthraquinonyl- and tetraanthraquinonyloxy-substituted copper and cobalt phthalocyanines

Cobalt and copper tetra-4-(9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthraceny-2-yl)]- and tetra-{4-(9,10-dioxo-9,10-dihydroanthracen-2-yl)oxy]}phthalocyanines have been prepared; their spectral properties have been studied.
