嗅神经母细胞瘤(附二例报告)

本文报告2例嗅神经母细胞瘤的典型病例并复习文献。肿瘤均原发于鼻腔,瘤组织由排列成条索、片团状的瘤细胞组成。电镜观察发现部分瘤细胞内有神经分泌颗粒样结构。本文临床和病理观察结果支持本瘤的嗅神经上皮起源说。

Olfactory Neuroblastoma: A Presentation of Two Cases

Olfactory neuroblastoma is an uncommon tumor most often arising in the nasal cavity. The present study presented two such cases with typical clinical and pathological findings. Histopathologically the tumor consisted of fairly uniform neoplastic cells with round hyperchromatic nuclei and scanty cytoplasm. They were separated into irregular groups by delicate connective tissue. Among the cells, thin, short and hephazardly arranged silver positive fibrils were identified with silver staining. Pseudorosette arrangements of tumor cells were also infrequently encountered. The electron microscopy of formalin-fixed tissue revealed a few membrane-bound, spherical structures in the cytoplasm of dark cells resembling neurosecretory granules. These findings favor the opinion that this tumor is most likely of neural crest origin and it should belong to a group of neoplasmas collectively called as "apudomas" or "neurocrestomas".
