肝层状纤维化型嗜酸细胞癌癌旁肝细胞的线粒体异常

摘    要:本文报告一例肝层状纤维化型嗜酸细胞癌外科切除标本的光镜和电镜观察结果,并着重描述肿瘤旁肝细胞内线粒体的改变。结果显示,癌旁肝细胞内线粒体分裂增殖活跃,糖原包含体多见,体积增大,形状怪异,嵴排列紊乱,并见多量类结晶体。作者推测,此种癌旁肝细胞内的线粒体异常可能与肝内癌组织存在有关;或者此类特殊类型肝癌的发生可能是与某种化学致癌过程有关,而癌旁肝细胞内的线粒体异常代表一种癌前变化。

Abstract:A light and electron microscopical study was carried out on a surgical specimen of a hepatic fibrolamellar oncocytoma from a 19 year-old white girl with special emphasis on the mitcchondrial changes in nontumor hepatocytes.The tumor,both light and electron microscopically showed typical features for this special variant neoplasm.The nontumor liver maintained normal architecture with marked lym-phoid hyperplasia and fibrosis in the portal regions in the vicinity of the tumor.No megamitochondria were appreciated under the light microscope.The electron microscopical observation,however,revealed prominant morphological alterations of indivi-,dual mitochondrion.The dividing mitochondria were frequently encountered.Pseudo-inclusions or invaginations of the limiting membrane were common.Many mitochondria were enlarged with various shapes.The cristae were distorted and crystalloid inclusions were easily observed.According to some of the concepts of carcinogenesis that mitochondria are the primary targets for some carcinogens and knowing some evidence in the literature supporting these hypothesis,we presume that some chemicals might selectively alkylate mitcchondrial DNA and also alter the morphology of mitochondria,injure the mechanism (s) of replication and lead to malignant transformation.
