研究生信息检索课教学综合实习效果的评价

摘    要:目的:评估研究生信息检索课教学实习效果,改进教学质量。方法:首先对2002—2004级研究生的综合实习报告和成绩进行全面统计分析,其次在研究生毕业前,对检索课教学内容、教学方式和教学效果分别进行问卷调查。结果:95%以上的研究生对教学效果满意,肯定了综合实习的教学方式,但也存在一定的问题,35.53%研究生在检索课实习阶段没有确定研究方向,综合实习题目由自己拟定,使检索课与科研实践脱节。在教学内容方面,85%的研究生认为主题分析是课题检索的难点,提示应该加强主题分析教学。结论:综合实习的过程是理论与实践相结合的过程,也是检验信息检索课教学效果的一把尺子。重视研究生信息检索课教学的实习,不仅是信息检索课教学本身的需要,也是提高研究生综合素质和科研创新能力的需要。

Abstract:

Aim: To evaluate the practice efficiency of information retrieval course in postgraduates in order to improve its teaching. Methods: Reports on comprehensive practice of 2002-2004 postgraduates and their practice results were analyzed, followed by investigation of the teaching contents, methods and efficiency with questionnaires before their graduation. Results: Over 95% of the postgraduates were satisfied with the teaching efficiency and gave their positive comments on the teaching methods in comprehensive practice. However, 35.53% of the postgraduates did not decide their research subjects in the practice period, which were drafted by themselves, while 85% of them considered that subject analysis was a difficult point in retrieval, suggesting that subject analysis should be strengthened in teaching. Conclusion: Comprehensive practice is the integrating process of theory and practice, and a measure for the teaching efficiency of information retrieval course. Attaching importance on the practice of information retrieval course in postgraduates is necessary not only for the teaching of information retrieval course itself, but also for the improvement of the comprehensive literature and scientific innovating ability of postgraduates.
