| Abstract: | The expanded-metal network has some properties, su ch as excellent characteristics to suppress fire and explosion, good mecha nical properties and capability of mitigating surging of fuel by packing in fuel tanks . In this paper, fire and explosion suppression mechanism of expanded-metal netw orks is analyzed and the application is introduced. |
