Abstract:3-Bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylic acid is an important intermediate of a new insecticide chlorantraniliprole.Taking 2,3-dichloropyridine as raw material,3-bromo-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyra-zole-5-carboxylic acid was synthesized via hydrazino-substitution,diethyl maleate-cyclization,pyrazolidinecarboxylate-esterification,bromide hydrogen-bromination,concentrated sulfuric acid oxidative dehydrogenation and hydrolysis.The results show that the raw material of this reaction is easil...
