摘    要:随着校园网络规模的不断扩大,网元设备的种类和数量不断增加,用户对网络性能需求的不断加大,这给网络性能监测和管理带来了许多困难。为了提高网络性能管理的效率,很有必要对各网元进行集中管理,即在一个统一的系统平台上对各种设备进行管理。文中将SNMP的思想、JAVA的多线程技术融入到性能监测系统中,通过对性能数据的采集、存储及分析,设计并开发了一套适于校园网应用的性能监测原型系统。实际应用证明,该系统不仅可以通过对性能数据的实时监测及历史数据分析使网络整体性能更趋于合理,大大提高校园网络运行的效率,而且还具有良好的扩展性和灵活性。

Abstract:With the expansion of campus network, there are more and more various network elements, users have high demand for network performance, which brings many difficulties for the management and monitoring of campus network. To improve the efficiency of network performance management, it' s necessary to build a uni- form network system which can centralize all network elements. In this paper, SNMP protocol, JAVA's multi - threading technology are introduced into performance monitoring system. A set of performance monitoring system suitable for campus network is designed and developed by collecting, storing and analyzing performance data. Practical application shows that the system can not only make overall performance more reasonable and improve the efficiency of operation of the campus network greatly through real - time monitoring of performace data and historical data analysis,but also has the good expansibility and flexibility.
