Abstract:A brief overview on observation environmental conditions in Linfen Seismic Station is first provided in this article. An statistical analysis on the relationship of earthquakes and anomalous image before earthquakes is then presented. The anomaly images recorded are classified and the ability to recognize earthquakes with the anomaly of digital horizontal pendulum tiltmeter is determined. The results are useful for the future study of mediumstrong earth-quakes.
