肝主调节论

肝位处中焦,以疏泄条达为顺,以藏血为本,疏藏协调,气机调畅,气血运行正常则五脏六腑功能正常,此称为调节功能。肝的调节功能失职则气机失调,气血运行失常,如不及时平衡则可变生五脏六腑多种疾病。简述了肝主调节的功能,强调临证要注重调理肝的功能,以恢复机体气机及各系统间的平衡。

Discussion of Regulating Function of Liver

Liver is located in middle-jiao, controlling dispersion and storing blood. It makes qi move in the body in a harmonious way by dispersing and regulating, and makes qi and blood circulate normally, so as to get five viscera and six hollow organs operate normally. This is referred to its regulating function. If its regulating function worked in disorder,q/and blood would circulate in disorder. And if the imbalance had not been corrected in time, five viscera and six hollow organs would produce a lot of affection or pathological changes.
