一维光子晶体基本周期结构对光子禁带的影响

摘    要:利用由特征矩阵方法得到的一维光子晶体的反射率计算公式,对具体的一维光子晶体周期结构,计算了在不同的入射角下,P偏振光和S偏振光的反射率随光子晶体基本周期结构光学厚度的变化。计算结果表明,光子禁带是与光子晶体的基本周期结构的光学厚度有关的,对不同的偏振光,光子禁带随光子晶体基本周期结构的光学厚度的变化有所不同。在设计光子晶体时,可以根据需要,通过改变光子晶体基本周期结构的光学厚度来实现对光子带隙的控制。

Abstract:The formulas of reflectivity were derived in one-dimensional photonic crystals with the method of the characteristic matrix.With this method,the reflectivity of-polarized light and-polarized light of one-dimensional photonic crystal with specific structure was calculated when the optical thickness of the basic period structure of the photonic crystal is changed.The results show that the photonic band gap connects to the optical thickness of the basic period structure of the photonic crystal.For different polarized light,the effect of the optical thickness on the photonic band gap is different.Control of the photonic band gap design can be achived via changing the optical thickness according to the requirement of the photonic crystal.
