Abstract:Tomato is one of the most important vegetable crops in the world. Tomato production is seriously affected by the occurrence and spread of diseases. It is the most economical and effective way to control diseases by cultivating varieties with multiple resistant genes to different diseases. Functional markers were used to test the appearance of Cf-9, Mi-1, I-2, Ph-3 and Tm-2a genes in 234 tomato materials. Cf-9 was found in 136 materials. Mi-1was found in 20 materials. I-2was found in 124 materials. Ph-3 was found in 38 materials. And Tm-2a was found in 24 materials. Among the 234 tomato materials, 29 did not contain any of these five resistant genes, 106 contained one resistant gene, 70 contained two resistant genes, 23 contained three resistant genes, 6 contained four resistant genes (line 11CT387-2M, 11CHT164-2, 11CT150, 11CT271, 11CT730 and 11CT774). None of the materials had five resistant genes. The results would lay a foundation for resistance genes pyramiding in the future.
