Abstract:In order to design a reasonable structure for grab buckets with a certain rigidity,strength and service life,so as to improve the grab buckets performance in loading and unloading operations in places such as ports and docks.Focusing on several key structures in design of double-jaw grab buckets with long supporting bars,through theoretical derivation,finite element analysis and practical inspection,the relationship between key geometric parameters of the bucket body and references for reasonable selection of local hinge,constraint,equilibrium and guiding structure are obtained;combined with the analysis and application practice of a certain grab bucket design plan,the validity of several key structural design basis is verified,which lays a technical foundation for improving the design ability of grab buckets and designing grab bucket with high grasping ability.
