我国食品及包装机械面临产业升级——访中国食品和包装机械工业协会副会长 何南至

<正> 我国食品工业和食品包装机械真正形成行业也就20年的时间。这20年是世界技术发展最快的时期,新技术不断在行业上应用,而我国食品工业整体基础薄弱,技术及科研力量不足,因而造成我国食品机械工业的发展相对滞后。大量技术含量高的成套食品机械设备仍依靠进口。要改变这种状况,我国食品机械面临产业升级。日前,记者特别专访了中国食品和包装机械工业协会副会长何南至,倾听他的独到见解。

Oncoming update of China food and packaging machinery

With China commodity economy booming, life style and consumption level are both improving. Because the pace of life is getting fast, the demand for instant foods, such as microwave food, snack food and frozen food is increasing. That will stimulate the demand for packaging products of frozen food and instant food. Meanwhile, the government has proposed agriculture development scheme and underlined downstream processing of agricultural products. The projects of downstream processing of agricultural products require much machinery. Also, National Development and Reform Commission includes food processing and packaging machinery in its key projects. These opportunities will open promising prospects for food packaging machinery industry. The annual increase rate of food machinery is expected to exceed 20% in future. In coming years, with industrial structure adjustment, China packaging industry will make achievements in energy consumption reduction, structure optimization, quality enhancement and competitiveness increase. The products comply with the trends of consumption update, technology enhancement and sustainable development will speed up developing. China will pay adequate attention to premium packaging raw materials and machinery. In 2020, China is expected to meet the demand for establishing an all-around affluent society, and achieve advanced technology, good profit, low resource consumption, less environmental pollu- tion and fully developed human resource. With China economy growing, packaging machinery industry is developing with 18% annual rate. Introducing advanced packaging equipment from foreign countries could boost China packaging industry and diminish the gap between China and developed countries in packaging industry. However, we should not rely on foreign high-tech or equipment thoroughly. In the aspect of technology, foreign enterprises usually have better comprehensive performance, even if China firms may have advantages in a certain area. Considering packaging industry is associated to many fields, especially food and beverage industry, the impact of undeveloped packaging industry should not be neglected. With competition is becoming increasingly furious, in future, food packaging machinery will improve overall level. We should know establishing ownbrand is a huge and long-term task.
