| Abstract: | This report put forward an idea of self adapting dynamic vibration absorber for reducing inevitable twist vibration of a shaft with variable rotation speed, and presents a theoretical analysis of the principle of such absorber. A design simplified diagram of the self adapting absorber is given. Comparing this absorber with different conventional ones it is shown that the maximum effect of the self adapting dynamic vibration absorber may occur at any rotation speed of the shaft but others only at a narrow range of the speed. |
