Construct barley production base in China to promote the industry development

The fast development of beer industry in China promotes barley industry booming but followed by some problems, including that quality is not improved greatly, the investment to production base is insufficient; and unfair competition occurs in purchase sometimes. Accordingly, the author underlined the importance of constructing barley production base in China and proposed professional suggestions that are summarized as following: Firstly, invest to variety breeding which is the basis of good-quality barley. Secondly, regulate the purchase and en-sure the benefits of all the segments in the industry. Thirdly, raise the farmers awareness of quality by economic methods. Also, develop the faithful relationship between the production base and producers.
