Abstract:A new type of catalysis-separation dehydrogenation membrane reactor was designed. The influences of various factors (including hydrogen concentration in reaction side, total flow rate of mixture gas, reactor temperature, sweeping gas flow rate in separation side etc. ) on the hydrogen permeation of the microporous ceramic membrane were investigated experimentally. It was found that the hydrogen permeation rate decreases with the increase of H_2 concentration or the total flow rate of mixture gas, and increases with the increase of reactor temperature. Because of the decrease of H_2 partial pressure in separation side, the transfer of H_2 from reaction side to separation side was promoted, so that the hydrogen permeation rate was increased largely.
