岭南东江流域MIS2阶段红色沙质沉积物粒度分布特征分析

摘    要: 南岭以南东江流域临江地层剖面LJ3层位是一套红色沙质沉积物,经TL年代测定其形成于(9 500±800)—(19 600±1 800) a BP的MIS2阶段。根据对该层16个样品(LJ3\|100到LJ3-85)的粒度分析结果,发现:①各个粒组配置给不同样品具有大致相同的含量;②)Md、Mz、σ、Sk和Kg从LJ3\|100到LJ3\|85摆动在一个狭窄的区间;③诸样品在概率累积曲线上的各个段落以基本相同的斜率平行延展。经研究,这三个方面都共同的反映了LJ3的风成特征。据此认为,该层是发生在岭南MIS2阶段内的红色沙质沉积物,反映了当时干旱的气候。

Abstract:Layer LJ3 of Linjiang stratigraphic section in Dongjiang river valley in the south of Nanling Mountains is a set of red sandy sediments. Measured by TL dating it was found to be formed in MIS2 phase of (9 500±800)—(19 600±1 800)a BP. Analyzed by the grain sizes of the 16 samples (LJ3-100 to LJ3-85) in this layer, it was discovered that: ①The contents of each grain group in different samples are similar;② The values of Md, Mz, σ ,Sk and Kg swing from LJ3-100 to LJ3\|85 in a narrow range;③The segments of each samples in the accumulative curves extend parallel with similar slopes. All the three aspects reveal the aeolian characteristics of layer LJ3. Hereby, the layer LJ3 is made up of red sandy sediments formed in MIS2 in the south of Nanling Mountain, reflecting the arid climate at that time.
