彩色等离子体显示屏新型Ne-Xe-Kr混合气体的研究

摘    要:为提高彩色等离子体显示屏的发光亮度和效率,提出了一种新型Ne Xe Kr混合气体.通过测量不同配比和压强条件下混合气体的光电特性,对放电气体进行了优化研究.经综合比较,得出以下结论:在常用放电气体Ne Xe中掺入Kr气,有助于提高显示屏的亮度、光效及获得较佳的白场色度,但充入高Kr含量混合气体的显示屏的功耗很大,因此Kr含量不能过高,其分压比应在0 1%~2%之间,典型气体配比为NeXe8Kr0 5,总的充气压强应在60~80kPa之间.实验结果表明,与NeXe8气体相比,NeXe8Kr0 5的发光亮度和发光效率分别提高了15%和21%.

New Type of Mixture Gas Ne-Xe-Kr Applied to Color Plasma Display Panels
Abstract:A new type of mixture gas Ne-Xe-Kr was provided for improving the luminance and luminous (efficiency) in color plasma display panels (PDP). Through measuring and analyzing of the electro-optical properties of the gas with various mixing ratio and gas pressure, the optimisation of discharge gas was (investigated), from which the following conclusions can be obtained that adding Kr to Ne-Xe discharge gas can significantly increase the luminance, luminous efficiency and can improve chromaticity of white-field in PDP. But if adding of Kr is too much, the power consumption of PDP will be high, so it is suggested that the partial pressure ratio of Kr should be in the range of 0.1%-2%, the typical mixing ratio is NeXe_8Kr_(0.5), and the total gas pressure should be in the range of 60 kPa-80 kPa. The experimental results show that luminance and luminous efficiency of NeXe_8Kr_(0.5) are increased by 15% and 21% respectively, compared with those of NeXe_8.
