| Abstract: | The ionic type rare-earth ores are unique to china, which have been discovered at several provinces in southern China. In this paper the mineralogical eharacteristics and extractive method of the rare earth ores as well as the problems on their mining and bcneficiation are described. The possible solutions to these problems and new processes for their development will be discussed. |
