Abstract:This article briefly reviews the developing course of the materials of aircraft landing gear both at home and abroad.Emphasis on 300M steel(4OCrNi2Si2MoVA) that was widely used at home and abroad.Analysis of the effect that various alloying elements was on the 300M steel material mechanical properties.The vacuum heat treatment methods and advantages of the 300M steel were introduced,emphasing the processing of vehicle,milling,boring and grinding.The hot issues at home and abroad and the research result of 300M steel was summarized,pointing out the cutting research direction of the 300M steel.
