Abstract:A industrial experimental investigation of heat exchangers with curve-ROD baffle and with segmental baffle was carried into execution. The shell-side and tube-side heat transfer and pressure drop performances were studied. Two equations using the Reynolds number could predict the heat transfer coefficient of the shell-side and tube-side. The integrated characteristics of the curve-ROD baffle heat exchanger are superior to that of the segmental baffle one.
