| Abstract: | The performance, structure and design features of the ball valve with 1.6 m diameter used in Xiaotiandu Hydropower Station have been introduced. Some new structures were adopted in the design, which made the layout of ball valve more reasonable and the performance more excellent, resulting in improved techno-economic index. The valve is now operating very well. |
