Abstract: | A mathematical model which describes the operation of a two-phase bubble-liquid reactor is studied. The model reduces to investigation of the Goursat problem for a hyperbolic system of two partial differential equations. A number of exact solutions to this problem are constructed that describe the operation of the reactor from the time of ignition until the onset of the stationary regime of operation.
