Continuous nursing needs and its influencing factors among patients after uretercutaneousostomy

Objective To investigate continuous nursing needs and its influencing factors among outpatients after uretercutaneousostomy,so as to provide reference for conducting targeted transitional care.Methods A total of 125 patients after uretercutaneousostomy during outpatient follow-up were selected utilizing convenience sampling,then they were investigated using a general information questionnaire and the continuous nursing needs assessment scale for urostomy discharged patients.Results The total score of continuous nursing needs among discharged patients after uretercutaneousostomy was 82.47±21.83.Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that,duration of illness,satisfaction of care needs,distance between home and hospital,and working status were the main factors influencing the patients'continuous nursing needs(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion The continuous nursing needs among discharged patients after uretercutaneousostomy is in a moderate and low level,and it is influenced by some factors.Clinical nurses should provide targeted interventions and transitional care tailored to the needs of patients at different stage,so as to improve patients'physical and mental health,then return to their families and society as soon as possible.
