A Chinese Simulative Transformer Substation System Built with DAI Technology
Abstract:Simulation system using DAI(Distributed Artificial Intelligence) has been explored theoretically only recently. But we have found no information in the open literature about its engineering application. For training workers all over China, we have developed such a DAI simulation system. The DAI system we have developed is planned to be installed at Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province. Its features are: (1) Static definition and dynamic adjustment, previously mutually excluding, are combined ingeniously to obtain optimum results. (2) Each node (an artificial intelligence system) is independent and yet these nodes act in good coordination without requiring any node to be subordinated to any other. In other words these nodes are equal but can always compromise quickly on a plan of action acceptable to all. (3) Communication strategy. Continuous calculations are made and stored in role tables, interaction tables and value tables, then other relevant nodes are visited and replies are requested; the questions are answered in the order of their importance; sometimes replies that are overdue are no longer necessary and therefore the original requests are cancelled. (4) We also propose other strategies that contribute to the efficient working of our DAI system.
