Influence of problem-guided comprehensive nursing on the postoperative physical and psychological recovery of patients with thyreoidectomy

Objective To study the influence of problem-guided comprehensive nursing on the postoperative physical and psychological recovery of patients with thyreoidectomy. Methods Totally 90 patients undergoing thyreoidectomy between January 2017 and May 2018 were chosen and divided into a control group and a observation group, each of 45, according to a random number table. The control group was given routine nursing,while the observation group was provided with problem-guided comprehensive nursing. Then 12 and 24 hours after the operation,wound healing and psychological resilience before and after the nursing, hospitalization time and satisfaction with nursing of two groups were evaluated. Results The pain of the observation group 12 and 24 hours after the operation relieved significantly compared with the control group(Z=-2.723, P=0.007;Z=-2.979,P=0.003).The wound healing of the former was significantly better than the latter(Z=-7.456, P<0.001). Moreover, the satisfaction with nursing and postoperative psychological resilience after the nursing of the observation group were both significantly higher than the control group(Z=-8.438, P<0.001; P<0.001), while the hospital stay of the former was significantly shorter than the latter (t=15.727, P<0.001). Conclusion The problem-guided comprehensive nursing has good effect on the physical and psychological recovery of patients after thyreoidectomy. Therefore, it is well worth promotion and application in the clinical practice.
