| Abstract: | s:Structure characteristics, expansibility, cation exchange, suspension, dispersion, hydrophilic nature, stability, thixotropy, toxicity and other properties of bentonite are described. Based on reaction principle, raw materials and three kinds of manufacture processes including wet-process, dry-process and pre-gelation to produce bentonite are introduced. Application field of bentonite is also given. |
