摘    要:以Ti粉、Al粉和活性炭粉体为原料,采用高能球磨及真空热压烧结技术制备纯度较高的Ti2AIC陶瓷,通过DSC、XRD等测试手段研究了该工艺的反应合成过程,并重点分析了Al含量对反应过程及材料微结构的影响.结果表明,Al含量对合成Ti2AIC陶瓷有很大的影响,当体系中Al含量为28%时,在氩气保护下高能球磨12 h,形成以Ti、TiC和Ti-AI金属间化合物为主的复合粉体,该复合粉体在1 300℃真空热压烧结即可获得单一物相Ti2AlC块体.

Abstract:The mierostructural ternary layered singlephase Ti2 AIC ceramics was synthesized by high energy milling and vacuum hot-pressing sintering using Ti,AI and reactive carbon powders as raw materials. The in-situ reaction process and effects of AI content on the reaction and microstructure of the ceramics were examined by DSC, XRD (X-ray diffraction) and SEM (scanning electron microscope). The results show that AI content has remarkable effects on the synthesis of high purity Ti2AIC ceramics. With 28% AI con-tent, the Ti, TiC and Ti-AI intermetallics compositeswere formed by high energy milling for 12 hours in Ar atmosphere, and the single phase Ti2 AIC ceramics was successfully prepared by hot-presses sintering the composites at 1300℃.
