| Abstract: | This paper briefly describes the necessity and feasibility of the development of variab1e valve timing mechanism in China and its advantages applying to the engine. A variable valve timing mechanism has been developed. Its structure,operating principle and practical effects on the engine and vehicle performances are also presented. |
