基于区域分割的复杂背景中人脸检测与定位

基于区域分割和特征验证，提出了一种复杂背景下的人脸检测和定位方法。在粗略定位人脸的基础上，提出了一种新颖简单的区域分割方法，有效地定位出人脸的候选区域，通过检测眼睛和嘴唇完成对人脸的确认。实验证明该方法检测速度快，准确率高，具有较好的鲁棒性。

Algorithm for detecting and locating human faces based on region segmentation in complex backgrounds

Based on region segmentation and features verification, a new human face detection and location approach is presented. This algorithm is adapted to face detection in case of high demands for complex backgrounds. After detecting face regions approximately, a simply and new region segmentation method is proposed which can effectively locate face candidate regions followed by eye and lip detection. Experiments show that the algorithm has not only high accuracy and robustness but also low computational cost.
