Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of less invasive for elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures. Methods The study retrospectively analyzed 71 elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures treated with LISS (the test group), and 68 were treated with DHS as the control group. The incision length, operation time and amount of bleeding during the operation, postoperative complications, time of fracture heal and encumbrance, and the total curative effect were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the clinical effect was better in the experiment group. Conclusions It is an effective method to treat the elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures with LISS, for the advantages of good retention, shorter time of fracture, and less postoperative complications.
