给出了一种多传感器数据融合的融合算法，并将其用于分布式水声信号检测系统中多部声呐的信息综合。各部声呐的观测可以是相互独立的。也可以是相关的。计算机仿真结果表明，融合后系统的检测性能有明显提高。

A Fusion Algorithm for Distributed Underwater Signal Detection

We present an algorithm for detection fusion in a distributed detection system consisting of N sensors. Each sensor makes a decision based on its own observation, and transmits it to the fusion center, and based on these local decisions, the final decision is made at fusion center. The decision rules of individual sensors are assumed to be fixed, and the optimal fusion rule(eq.1) for fixed sensor decision rules is presented. Based on this optimal fusion rule, a fusion algorithm for underwater signal detection is developed (section 2), and simulations for dependent and independent sensor observations are carried out. Simulation results show that the performance of the fusion system is improved significantly when compared to the performance of individual sensors (Fig.2), and that further improvement can be achieved when the degree of dependence among different sensors is decreased (Figs.3 and 4).
