The integrated model of assessing traps and its application in the stage of pre-exploration

Aim To provide reasonable,numerical outcomes to reduce the exploring risks.Methods Geological risk analysis and economic evaluation.Results Because the exploring and developing processes are dynamic,the assessment processes should use the integrated approach including geologic analysis and economic evaluation to assess traps.An integrated model of assessing traps in the stage of pre-exploration is founded and the steps and data needed in the assessment process is introduced.Conclusion The assessments in the stage of pre-exploring prospects should not only think much of geologic analysis,but also emphasis on economic evaluation.Although the geologic analysis is the basis of the assessments,the outcomes of the economic evaluation is the virtual benefits to the exploration decision.
