As a pillar industry，the construction industry faces many problems with the rapid development，such as the low level of market regulation，low industrial concentration，and fund shortage. Nowadays，science and technology become the main theme of economic development，and the main issue for the construction industry is the integration of industry and technology. The development of modern construction industry，which is an industrial revolution，changes the global market and becomes an important mean to deal with the financial crisis. Based on the research of current situation of modern construction industry and the impact of science and technology on the construction industry，this paper analyzed the necessity and methods for the integration of modern construction industry and technology，which provides the support for the development of the construction industry.
