Quality Control on the Airfield Pavement Concrete of Pudong International Airport

The second airfield pavement of the Pudong International Airport is the first "4F"Grade airfield pavement on the soft-ground in China. The quality of the airfield pavement concrete is demanded to be the first class of China. According to the practice of engineering and on the basis of materials science principle, through analyzing the influence factors on the bending strength of concrete the key points of quality control on the intrinsic and exterior aspects of the airfield pavement concrete were derived aiming at every course of construction quality control of the whole process. Therefore, the quality of the airfield pavement concrete engineering has been insured to meet the design requirements.
