| Abstract: | The TGP turbine, with the rated output of 710MW, will be one of the worldwide Francis turbines in service with the largest capacity and dimensions. The turbine will be operated in the super conventional operation condition range for Francis turbines and therefore the stability of TGP turbine attracted worldwide attention in hydropower field. Based on the specific features of TGP turbine operation conditions, this article proposes the measures and approaches for improving TGP turbine stability. |
