| Abstract: | During 1977-1978 there was seriously drought in Nanyang expansive soil region, a great number of houses and public buildings underwent subsidence and cracking. The characters of building damages are introduced, the damage causes are discussed, and some precautions against building cracking and the measures are suggested. |
