Integrated Application of Some Investigation Methods on the Geologic Examination of an Expressway in a Mountainous Area

The Longyan-Changting expressway is only one quickspeed automobile passage opening into Southern Jiangxi from Western Fujian.The expressway is located in the mountainous area and steps over different landform and geological structures,in which there are more complex geological structures,many kinds of strata and multivariate lithological characters.By using the integrated application of the multifold exploration methods,it can effectively ravel out the engineering roadblocks such as the arrangement of holes,drilling construction,the engineering geological mapping,the engineering geological evaluation and the selection of the highway line in the engineering exploration of the expressway which consists mainly of bridges and tunnels,which has obtained a better effect.
