A parametric man/machine interaction with semantic data

This paper describes a method of semantic data management in a geometric model (parametric object model). The semantic data introduced into the parametric object model realize an effective designer/system interaction in product design environments. The parametric object model with semantic data can solve such problems as similar product design problems, robot motion problems, design manufacturing data transfer problems, etc.
