跨文化交际与英语教学

随着科学技术的不断发展和国际交往的日益频繁,跨文化交际日趋重要,必不可少.因此,让学生了解跨文化交际知识,跨越文化障碍,提高跨文化交际能力,对于搞好英语教学,为我国科技事业的发展培养出高质量的复合型人才具有十分重要的意义.中西方文化存在较大差异,跨文化交际以及跨文化知识的导入方式与英语教学关系密切.大学英语教学应注重提高学生的跨文化交际能力.

Across-cultural Communication and English Teaching

With the constant development of science and technology and the increasing frequency of international contacts, across-cultural communication becomes more and more important and necessary. So it is of great significance for us college teachers of English language to give our students the knowledge of across-cultural communication and improve their abilities of across-cultural communication so as to train a lot of qualified scientists and technicians for the development of science and technology of our country. In this paper the author puts forward some approaches to improving college students' abilities of across-cultural communication in college English teaching by analyzing the cultural differences between China and western countries, the relationship between across-cultural communication and English teaching and the ways by which the knowledge of cross-culture is applied to English teaching .
