Abstract: | Cyclotron resonance of a magnetopolaron in a rectangular harmonic quantum wire withmagnetic fidd normal to the quanturn wire is investigated theoretically. The results weobtained show that, the Landau levels in the quantum wire are raised relative to those intwo-dimensional quanturn well due to the addition of a parabolic potential. The results alsoshow that, the cyclotron frequency and cyclotron mass of ID polaron are very different fromthose of 2D polaron, especially for weak magnetic field region ωC << ωLO |
