摘    要:车辆超速行驶是造成高速公路交通事故的主要原因之一,依赖于固定摄像机的传统视频测速系统测速区域十分有限.通过车载双目电荷耦合器件(CCD)摄像头获取车辆行驶过程中前方车辆的行驶状态,提出了一种测量前方行驶车辆速度的方法.利用改进Hough变换识别车道线,提取感兴趣区域,以车底阴影特征为基础完成车辆检测,通过在车载视频图像中选取适当的图像帧,获得车辆的相对位移及对应的时间间隔,获得前方车辆的行驶速度.经测试,算法能得到较高精度的速度测量结果.

Abstract:Vehicle speeding is one of the major reasons lead to highway traffic accidents,velocity measurement range of traditional fixed camera video velocity measurement system is very limited. Driving state of the front vehicle is obtained by using the vehicle mounted binocular charge coupled device(CCD)camera,and a method for measuring the speed of the front vehicle is proposed.The proposed method uses the improved Hough transform to identify the lane lines and extract the region of interest,complete the vehicle detection on the basis of characteristic of vehicle shadow,the relative displacement of the vehicle and the corresponding time interval are obtained by selecting the appropriate image frame in the vehicle video image,and the driving speed of the front vehicle can be calculated.The above algorithm is tested,and high precision of the speed measurement results can be obtained.
