Abstract:In view of the energy consumption and wastewater treatment in the production of polyester dyeing caused by reduction cleaning for color fastness improvement, C.I. Disperse Blue 291 dispersion were prepared and was applied for continuous pad dyeing of polyester fabrics. The influence of dispersing property and particle size of C.I. Disperse Blue 291 dispersion on K/S value of dyed fabric was studied, the influence of adding adhesive, anti-migration agent and penetrant on dyeing effect of polyester fabric was analyzed, the influence of cationic fixing agent on color fastness of dyed polyester fabric was discussed, and the thermal performance and strength of dyed polyester fabric was analyzed. Experimental results show that the levelness, color fastness and K/S value of the dyed polyester fabric is improved, the dyed fabrics exhibit excellent dry rubbing fastness (5 grade), wet rubbing fastness (4-5 grade) and washing fastness (5 grade) as well as significant reduction of chemical oxygen demand (54.7%), the thermal performance and strength of the fabrics are virtually unaffected.
