| Abstract: | All the countries around the world made their Agenda 21 for implementing sustainable development after the Rio Declaration in 1992. This paper analysed the sustainable development progress in the United Kingdom, national and local sustainable development indicator system and especially the contents and characteristics of local Agenda 21. Experiences for implementation of sustainable development in China could be obtained. |
