| 摘 要： | 英汉两种语言中有着丰富的颜色词,而且这些颜色词不仅有其基本义,还具有丰富的隐喻义和转喻义,是人类认知的重要组成部分。从认知的角度,运用原型理论、隐喻和转喻理论分析英汉两种语言中基本颜色词的语义重合,对外语教学、翻译及跨文化交流有着重要的指导作用。

| Abstract: | The English and Chinese languages are rich in color terms. As an important part of human cognition, color terms have not only the basic meaning, but also the metaphorical and metonymical meaning. From the cognitive perspective, by using prototype theory, the theory of metaphor and metonymy, analysis of the semantic overlap of color terms in the English and Chinese languages has important instruc tive role in foreign language teaching, translation and inter-cultural communication. |
