中华文化的历史机遇与大学文化建设

大学本身就是人类发展到一定历史阶段的文化现象。大学既是文化的创造者,又是文化的载体。但大学并非与生俱来就有文化,因为文化的创造积累既需要主动设计创造,又需要一定的条件、时机。先进发达的文化既要科学的理论指导,又要深深植根于民族肥沃土壤。我国大学文化建设的成就总体上是值得肯定的,这是因为建国以来,大学文化始终是在先进科学的理论指导下进行的。但同时要看到我国大学文化存在缺损,长期以来大学文化建设中由于对我国的传统文化的开发挖掘不够,以致于崇高的思想理论与价值认定体系难以找到合适的民族文化土壤,其原因既有客观的也有主观的。随着我国经济实力的增强和国际影响力的提升,中华文化的发展创造的时机渐已成熟,从而也为大学文化的创新建设提供了极好的时机。

On Historical Opportunity of Chinese Culture and the Development of University Culture

The university itself is a cultural phenomenon of a particular historical period in human history. It is not only the innovator of culture, but also the culture carrier. This, however, does not mean that a university is inborn with culture, because the innovation and accumulation of culture need both active design and conditions. Advanced culture needs scientific theories as its guidance and the nation as its fertile soil. Chinese university culture has,on the whole ,undergone its positive development since 1949 under the advanced and scientific theories on the one hand,on the other hand, there is much left to be acknowledged. For decades, there has been a lack of inheriting the Chinese traditional culture in the development of university culture, so that sublime ideological theories and value systems fail to find the right national culture soil to grow in, which is due to both subjective and objective reasons. This paper intends to express the idea that with the power of its strong economy and its increase in the influence on the international arena, China has met a great opportunity for its culture development, which leads to a golden opportunity for the innovation and development of university culture.
