摘    要:鲍玛序列作为浊积岩的识别标志被广泛认可,但随着对深水沉积过程认识的深入,鲍玛序列逐渐被重新认识。近年来对深水沉积物重力流的研究发现:鲍玛序列不是浊流的唯一产物,深水环境中其它沉积过程也可形成鲍玛序列。因此,在野外识别浊积岩的过程中,要慎重使用鲍玛序列进行判别。

Abstract:The Bouma sequences have long been selected as sequences. The improvement of the research of the turbidites the criteria for the recognition of classical turbidite and deep-water gravity flow deposits in recent years has disclosed that the Bouma sequences are created not only by turbidity currents but also by other depositional processes such as the sediment gravity flows and tractional currents in the deep-water environments. Therefore, caution should be exercised in the application of the Bouma sequences as an indicator for the recognition of turbidites in the field.
