| Abstract: | This article describes the common association between chronic pelvic pain and irritable bowel syndrome. The aim of the diagnosis and management of chronic pelvic pain and irritable bowel syndrome is to improve the quality of life of the patient. Methods of diagnosis, treatment and overall management for these two challenging conditions are outlined in this article. |
